Zootopia 2 Review

Over nearly a decade after the original film, Zootopia 2 returns with an even bigger and bolder story. After the bunny, Judy Hopps the bunny and Nick WIlde the fox. Both are cops. They exposed assistant mayor Bellwether’s conspiracy.make sure these sentences flow and are complete The sequel drops the duo into a city still healing from the last crime that happened.

The trouble starts when a new character, Gary De’snake, shows up. He’s a reptile and Zootopia hasn’t really welcomed reptiles in their city. Almost making it seem racist in a way. Gary’s new arrival causes a lot of tension and confusion. Strange things start to happen around the city Judy and Nick have to figure out what’s going on and put their teamwork to the test.

At the same time the city is getting ready to celebrate their 100th anniversary of the giant weather wall that keeps the different climate working together so all the animals can live in the same city and still be comfortable in their own habitat. But as the celebration gets closer, Nick and Judy realize that there is a bigger plot that threatens the whole city. The movie builds up a fast and exciting finale of action and humor and has a great storyline to it.

The movie looked great. With it showing different perspectives of the animals and what it was like to be a reptile and not be included in the city.  also seemed to have adult humor in it. Almost like the creators of the movie knew that the kids that watched the first movie grew up. The writers also made a couple sneaky jokes that adults would only understand.

Overall we thought the movie was a 5.5/10 and could’ve been better. But it also could have been better. The plot made the story line go all over the place and the movie seemed very chaotic and confusing in a way.  It was a decently energetic movie that keeps the heart of the first movie while exploring a new plot and different ending with new characters that fit right in.
