The Menomonie Mustang JV Football team completed the almost perfect 2025 season on October 6th. They finished the season with a 5-1 record.
The Mustangs JV football team started off their season by traveling to Wausau East and winning. Then they went to La Crosse Central and won that game. They won at Northwestern and at Baldwin Woodville. Next, they went to Marshfield and lost their first and only game of the season. The next week, they bounced back and won at home against St Croix Central.
“I love the chaos of a Monday football game, getting all our boys ready,” coach Tyler Pabbich said.
The team were road warriors as they had to travel to every game except the game against St Croix Central at the Menomonie High School Sports Complex. They still went to every game ready to play hard as they finished the season with a 5-1 record.
“I had a great time playing with a competitive group of guys this year,” safety Aiden Anderson said. “One of my favorite memories was playing under the lights at Baldwin and our defense getting a huge stop at the end of the game to seal a great team win.”
