Menomonie High School’s annual Dress-Up week is back, giving students a chance to have fun and showcase their holiday spirit before Christmas break. Each day features a different theme, encouraging participation and spreading joy throughout the school community.
- Monday is pajama day
- Tuesday is ugly sweater day
- Wednesday is red vs. green day (green underclass and red upperclass)
- Thursday is twin day
- Friday is Santa’s workshop
This Dress-Up week is a great opportunity for kids to have fun and dress up for school before a nice, long Christmas break. Student Council does Dress-Up week as a way to get the student body involved and as a fun thing to do in our school. What makes Dress-Up week fun is that people get to dress up in different themes and wear clothes you maybe wouldn’t regularly wear to school. The student council collectively decides and comes up with the dress-up day themes. It’s fun to see everyone dress up and have fun during this last week of school before Christmas break. Students are often stressed to complete school work before break, hopefully this takes some weight off of shoulders.
“I can’t speak for everyone, but lots of people have fun coming up with outfits for each dress-up day!” – Jai Hasse
