On January 7th The Menomonie Mustangs will face the Chippewa Falls Cardinals on Senior Night.

The Mustangs come into this BRC matchup sitting 7-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference, The Cards are 3-7 overall and also 1-2 in the conference.

Menomonie will look to keep their momentum coming off a win against Black River Falls over break 7-3. They also won the Blizzard Hockey Classic Tournament in Siren where they beat Black River Falls once again and The Co-op WSFLG. The Mustangs have 2 players in the top 10 in points being sophomore Brekkin Cody with 17 points and Junior Cooper Marincel with 19. Senior Goalie Davin Ellis has also made his way into the top 5 save percentage category with a .904 percentage.

The Cardinals have faced tough opponents throughout this 2025-2026 season. Their last 3 games have been all losses to Notre Dame, Wausau West, and Fon Du Lac Springs.
