Our Menomonie High School Science Olympiad Team went to state, held at Medford High School on the 18th of April, a few weeks ago. They placed in many events and were top scorers in almost every event. The team competes in the Large School division of the tournament which has other large opponents such as Madison West, Marquette University High School, Medford, and Hudson. Menomonie placed 4th among these highly competitive teams, earning a trophy. Some top five places on the Varsity Team were those listed below:

There was also a great showing by the Menomonie exhibition team, as they also placed among the highest among other exhibition teams. There was one overall placement by the exhibition team listed below:
